Delavan Lake Real Estate Summary for 2021

It was a crazy 2021 for Delavan Lake real estate. Low inventory, limited sales, higher prices and Keefe Real Estate, once the leading agency in the area, sold out to a New York company.

As a result, we have started Simons Realty Group to continue to provide you with a strong local presence in the Delavan Lake real estate market. We will be located at 320 Hwy 50, Delavan Lake.

Lakefront home sales for 2021 totaled 17 units which was the same as 2020, but down from 20 units in 2019. There were 33 lake access homes sold in 2021 compared to 52 in 2020 and 49 in 2019.

Prices for lakefront homes ranged from $300,000 for an efficient two-bedroom on Brown’s Channel to $2,276,059 for a brand new six bedroom, eight bath home resting on 119 feet of South Shore frontage.

4424 East Drive was the least expensive waterfront sale for 2021.

The most expensive sale for 2021 was at 4421 South Shore Drive.

Lake access homes ranged from $88,000 for a remodel project in Jackson Park off of the North Shore to $579,000 for a five bedroom, three bath with limited lake views in the Viewcrest Subdivision. Incidentally, the one on Jackson Park Drive, sold twice last year. Once for $88,000 and again for $125,000 before the remodeling was complete.

Delavan Lake condominium sales were lower with 20 sales in 2021 compared to 24 in 2020 and 28 in 2019. Of the sales, 11 of the sales were condo hotel rooms that limit how often you can use them. Prices ranged from $29,900 for a condo hotel room in the Lake Lawn Resort to $359,000 for a three bedroom, three bath unit in the Delavan Club complex.

The current inventory of homes is close to nonexistent. There is only one waterfront home listed. It is on the Delavan Inlet and is already under contract. Nothing is available on the main body of Delavan Lake.

There are five lake access homes listed ranging from $139,900 for a one-bedroom in the Inlet Oaks Subdivision and increasing to $325,000 also in Inlet Oaks. Last year there were 11 homes available with lake access and in 2019 there were 18.

The best value lake access property is located at 221 Inlet Shore Drive.

For condos, there are nine condo hotel rooms available and three units on the Delavan Outlet. The condo hotels rooms start at $48,000 and the most expensive unit on the outlet is $344,900 for a three-bedroom, three bath unit in the Delavan Club.
